Oceans

Most of the ocean is as dark as night, with temperatures either just above freezing or, in a few places, hotter than humans can handle.The ocean covers 71 percent of the Earth's surface.  The ocean supports the life of nearly 50 percent of all species on Earth.

The water cycle has for different stages: condensation evaporation collection and precipitation. the earths water cover more then 3/4  of the earths surface. 97% to be exact. only 3% of the water on the earths surface is fresh water all the rest is salt water.

Early Solar System

In the early solar system, 4.6 billion years ago comets and asteriods were created along with the rest of our solar system. at this point in time the earths atmosphere was much different from todays.
